Thai Ready-to-Eat Food Products Promotion Project Through Thai SELECT Mark Certification 2025

Challenge: The Department of International Trade Promotion commissioned our company to implement the Thai Ready-to-Eat Food Products Promotion Project through Thai SELECT Mark Certification for 2025, aiming to elevate standards and build awareness of Thai ready-to-eat food products in global markets. The project faced challenges in selecting quality products that maintain the authenticity of Thai cuisine, as well as building international recognition for the Thai SELECT mark. This aligns with the government’s policy to develop Thailand’s soft power in Thai cuisine on the world stage.

Our Company’s Approach: Our company developed comprehensive implementation covering both selection processes and promotional activities:

  • Two Product Selection Events: Planned and executed product selection activities for Thai ready-to-eat food products, with the first round during December 2024 – April 2025 and the second round during May – September 2025
  • Comprehensive Promotional Materials: Developed modern promotional media packages reaching both Thai entrepreneurs and international consumers
  • Efficient Committee Meetings: Facilitated meetings of the committee evaluating Thai ready-to-eat food products applying for the Thai SELECT mark to establish criteria and review initial qualifications of applicants
  • Professional Product Presentation Events: Prepared venues and equipment for entrepreneurs to present and prepare food for committee evaluation, with organized systems for interviews and providing valuable feedback
  • Strategic Promotional Plan: Developed an integrated promotional plan to create awareness of the Thai SELECT mark both domestically and internationally across multiple media channels

Expected Results: The project aims for concrete success:

  • Increase the number of products receiving the Thai SELECT mark from the current 851 products from 96 companies
  • Elevate the standards of Thai ready-to-eat food products to international quality while preserving the authenticity of Thai cuisine
  • Enhance awareness and confidence in the Thai SELECT mark among consumers and Thai restaurants overseas
  • Create market opportunities for Thai ready-to-eat food products in international markets
  • Support the government’s Soft Power policy in promoting Thai cuisine globally

Beyond increasing export value, it preserves and promotes Thai food culture to be recognized and accepted internationally.
